Job Description
Renu Khanna is a women’s health and rights activist. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. She is one of the founder trustees of SAHAJ-Society for Health Alternatives based in Vadodara (Gujarat), a community based action research and advocacy organisation working on social accountability issues in the areas of maternal health, child rights, and adolescents’ development. Renu and some friends started the Women’s Health Advocacy Cell in the Women’s Studies Research Centre in the M.S. University of Baroda in 1992. This evolved into an interdisciplinary centre called WOHTRAC – Women’s Health, Training, Research and Advocacy Centre. She has been part of a pioneering group in India to design and conduct courses on gender and health.
